Summer Congress AM Speakers (Word Doc)

Heather White gives an insight into her
workshop’s aims:

“In the interim world about 90% of your assignment will come from word of mouth marketing and networking. It is also said that only about 10% of people are really natural at networking – hmmm,
a bit of mismatch going on. So for the rest of us it
is a task. I will show you the 9 steps to successful networking and confirm that there is a process and structure to networking that will help everyone achieve so much more – this workshop is going to focus on 2 of these 9 steps. Building your brand
and therefore helping others spread the word about you for you. A clear brand will maximise your networking time and for those who don’t like selling themselves, it is done for you. The second step is
so, so important – staying in touch with people,
doing the follow-up. And yes, even when you are busy, you should stay in touch with people. It never ceases to amaze me that people will get out there and make contact and yet do very little to stay in touch. What a waste of time and money. This workshop will take you through the fundamental
steps on these two very important steps to your success.”

Comments from the day.

“Obviously a lot of hard work from your team but it was very worthwhile, thank you. A very enjoyable day, thought provoking with real 2 way discussion about developing issues. Ian was a really good guest speaker having both achieved some remarkable objectives but very much in touch with the interim community. As far as discussion points for the next conference, legislation and the economy will still be issues worth including”

“Just a short e mail to thank you for yesterday’s conference. A successful hat trick ……. and best one yet! Strong speaker line up - a privilege to be there - and considering the current economic state – genuinely upbeat and positive”.

“Thanks to you Charles and the team for a great conference. I learned a lot ... whereas I thought only the networking would be useful. It was well thought through and demonstrated Russam GMS's knowledge in the interim space”

“Just a short note to let you know that I very much enjoyed yesterday, particularly as it was my first Russam GMS event, and that it exceeded my expectations..though I personally found Carl Jackson's and David Hole's presentation content quite similar, I did pick up a lot of information about a subject of which I have little knowledge and absolutely no experience”
